All those who found themselves in the Top Ten by the end of the month, get respective badges, that are displayed near the name of the item in the Collection and More Info sections.

Unfortunaly, though a lot of new items were added to our collection, some of our members wished to be removed - mostly because they considered the scoring system unfair.  That's why we decided to modify the system.

Changes in the voting system.

After long discussions and letters from other railroaders we decided, that our voting system should be modified. The main reason is that initially the main criterion was the Resulting Ball. This system seemed to be most suitable and fair to us, as people could expess their good and bad opinions. So, the item that was considered the best - that is, had the highest resulting ball, won the contest. This system worked well all over the first month of our work.
However, this month the situation changed. Some unfair people started practicing the method of putting putting bad marks to people above them, in order to lower their resulting ball and get higher places.

That's why the changes were made. Since now the Resulting Ball no longer matters. All places are distributed according to the overall points, collected by items, and putting "one" no longer means that the site (software, layout) is bad. It just displays how much you liked it - "1" means "there's something interesting, but not much", and "5" means "extremely wonderful". That is, even when you put "one", you add to overall points and the item gets more points. The Average Ball column remains, but it no longer matters, and is used for informative purpose only.

If you don't like the item, just don't vote for it. Thus you won't add any points to its result.

The chief advantage of this system is that no one can spoil other's results any longer now. If you don't like an item - you just don't vote for it, but your voting can't do any harm to anyone.

We consider, that this way is the most fair. If you think otherwise, or have any comments or suggestions, feel free to state them in our Discussion section.

The main news for today!
First month of our work has come to its end. During this time we had more than a thousand of visits, and more than thirty of our visitors became our members by submitting us their layouts, sites and software.

This results became possible due to all those, who helped us from the very opening, and supported us with their submissions and good words, making our site more and more interesting.

Great thanks also to all those people, who worked hard to make this site look the way it looks now!
