Discussion section is the place where you can ask questions, read answers, introduce new topics to be discussed.
What's New - recent events, happened on the site. We made this section specially for our frequent visitors - one can get all information about new submissions or changes by visiting this page only.
Any visitor may vote for any item of our collections. Against each item's number you can find Mark box. Choose a mark that you consider to be the most suitable for the item. Five ball grade is used:
- "No"- Don't want to vote.
- "1" - Not very interesting.
- "2" - Not bad.
- "3" - Quite good.
- "4" - Very good.
- "5" - Extremely wonderful.
Note, that whatever mark you put, it's a more or less good mark. That is, even when you put "1", it still increases the points. If you think that an item is extremely bad, choose "No", or just don't vote.
You can vote for several different items a day, but only one vote per item is accepted from each person each day (24 hours). The results of voting are calculated automatically and may be found then in the Top Ten section.
There are several fields in the table, responsible for the results:
Points field shows all the marks in sum assigned for the item. The more points has an item, the higher its place in the table.
Downloads field (for layouts only) shows how many visitors downloaded the layout.
People Voted field - shows how many people voted for the item.
The Average Ball - points, divided by the number of voters.

However, the best way to make an attractive preview is to send us an HTML file, containing photos and their description, that will open when the preview window is clicked. All files that you send for your preview must be packed in one .zip file (1MB max.). To input the filename of your preview, click "Browse" button and find the file on your computer.

Save the picture in JPEG or GIF format (If you don't have any convertors you may use, for instance, IrFanView. Click here to Download it).
Layout description field should contain design history, its specific features, peculiarities of the building technique and anything else that you consider to be interesting.
Next four fileds are for those, who used a railroad modelling software (or maybe CAD program) to design the layout.
Layout File field should contain the name of your layout file.
Layout file must contain a scheme of your actual (or imagined) layout, saved in
the specific format of the software you used, and packed by PKZIP or WINZIP program. To input the filename, click Browse button and find the file on your computer.
The name and the version of the program must be specified in the corresponding field.
Next two fields show your opinion about advantages of your software (if there are any) and main problems you experienced while using it (if there were any). Though these fields are not obligatory, they may be helpful to other modellers.
